 James A. Irwin, Ph.D.
President
Dr. Irwin has two decades of quantitative research experience ranging from space astrophysics to global equity markets. He is an expert in the study of historical stock market performance and the construction of predictive models. Dr. Irwin earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in astronomy from the University of Virginia. He also holds a B.S. in astrophysics from Indiana University where he graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Berger has extensive experience engineering data centers. These include NorthStar’s two complexes that enable constant market surveillance and rigorous research. He holds a Ph.D. in astronomy and an M.S. in physics from Georgia State University, and a B.A. in astronomy-physics from Colgate University. Dr. Berger held a NASA/JPL fellowship to develop cutting edge technology.
